Achievement Unlocked: It's 2005 All Over Again.
It's satisfying to launch an M203 grenade at an enemy jeep and watch the jeep and everyone in it blow up. It's not so satisfying to launch every remaining grenade at the APC that was behind it, only for it to shrug them all off and then kill you, leaving the command post you just recaptured free to be re-recaptured. It's just plain fucking retarded when they launch their artillery at you even though you're standing right next to the cannons that are launching. Yes all of that happened in singleplayer. Multiplayer usually has me sniping all day because I can't hit a guy 50 feet away with my M16, but his unlockable G36C can hit me perfectly fine from the same range. And beyond. Without even having to take more than half a second to aim and fire. And yet I keep coming back for more. EDIT: Wow, it really is 2005 again. Four hours later and only three people have seen this. I'm going to assume my long-winded drivel about why I hate loving Battlefield 2 is to blame. Mega Man copyright Capcom. Battlefield 2 copyright EA Games/DICE. You know, there actually isn't an enemy commander. Just a godlike presence that helps their team, and ONLY their team. I mean, srsly, your team sucks, and the enemy team is better than you, so it is all mostly fucking amazing how you can get exploded by the grenade that just nailed you in the back and have your knife out at the same time, killing someone in the throat because they were retarded enough to come near you with your knife out. And then your body flies for several miles and the only medic that even HEARS you crying out in pain is all the way across the map, dead, as well, and your left to respawn at a CP at an ungodly distance away from the real battle, and all the vehicles are taken because someone decided to tell you you can just shove your gun barrel up your ass and pull the damn trigger until your dead. They mainly say that by running you over, though, so its pointless.
